This section contains a variety of preliminary information, useful in making the best use of the content in the portal dedicated to the "Ancestors Project" and will be updated as a work in progress with more information to help the user.

To navigate the archives and consult the images of the documents, select one of the following fields:
1) Institution of interest
2) Community or village
3) Collection of civil registration of interest
4) Type of record
5) Period of interest
The images are presented in the same order as they appear in the original sources.

To search for a name in the archives and view the images of the documents:
1) Enter first or last name of the person for whom you are searching
2) Choose the community/locality or village (optional)
3) Choose the time period of interest (optional)

To enlarge an image: a feature called “magnifying glass” is should work automatically if one places the cursor on top the image that one wishes to enlarge. The enlargement is shown in the section above your browser.

To move between pages: one can use the navigational keys placed at the top or bottom of the page.
